NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — A new Mexican cantina will be coming to North Tonawanda right across from the Riviera Theatre.
El Punto Mexican Cantina has been slowly making progress on getting closer to their grand-opening date. The restaurant had announced it's new residency to the area in 2022, and has been keeping customers on their toes with social media updates on their progress towards opening their doors.
They even offer customers the opportunity to dine inside a refurbished Volkswagen bus for a unique experience. Along with the unique dining atmosphere, the menu offers guests options such as fresh guacamole, nachos, empanadas, margaritas and more.
In July, the group had posted that they hoped to be up and running by the end of the summer. Now, as we make our way through October and head into November there has been no update on an exact grand-opening date.
