NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Aquarium of Niagara will be beginning their search for a new CEO after news of their current one, Gary Siddall is leaving to join the team at the Buffalo Society of Natural Sciences.
Siddall had been CEO at the Aquarium for 20 years, and during his time started off as just a volunteer when he was a teenager. Moving up the ranks he had become President and CEO in 2016.
His new role will include overseeing both the Museum of Science and Tift Nature Preserve. The staff includes around 70 people both full-time and part-time.
In a post made to social media the Aquarium wished Siddall well, and said "The team is well-positioned and committed to maintaining momentum as we strive to create a true Niagara Falls destination, and we wish Gary all the best as he takes this next step in his career."
