BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you live in the City of Buffalo and are looking for a fun summer camp that still has openings, you could sign your kids up to learn about basketball from a local NBA player.
The camp is free and is run by Toronto Raptors player and Buffalo native Jordan Nwora.
It starts Monday, July 8, and runs through July 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center at Erie Community College.
Campers will get to work with local coaches, as well as Nwora. The Jordan Nwora Foundation Elite Basketball Camp is also an opportunity for the coaches to encourage the children to continue to attend school and to be active members of the community.
