BUFFALO, NY--- A maintenance update at National Grid is preventing customers from paying their bill online and on the phone this weekend.
National Grid spokesman Patrick Stella tells 2 On Your Side they are updating their collections systems, which has affected their online and phone bill pay systems. The system will be down through the weekend.
Customers can pay their bill on Monday. If they have an auto-deduction set up, the payment will be withdrawn on Monday.
Stella says customers in good standing will not have to worry about a late fee.
