WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — On New Year's Day, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital welcomed its first baby of 2024.
Sydney and Christopher Miles welcomed their first daughter, Callie Adeline Miles, at 9:39 a.m. on January 1, 2024, making her Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital’s first baby of 2024.
Callie weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and measured 18.75 in. long. She is the couple’s first child.
Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital delivers approximately 2,700 babies annually.
The new parents received a Warm Welcome Gift Set courtesy of Fisher-Price.
On Tuesday, Sisters of Charity Hospital announced that its first baby was also born on New Year's.
Matteo Fadel was born to Jena and Christopher ‘C.J.’ Fadel at 1:13 a.m., weighing 9 pounds.
Matteo was a New Year's surprise and the first child for the couple.
The hospital said the baby and mom are doing great and they’re excited to bring him home to celebrate 2024 and meet their puppy.
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center also welcomed its first baby of 2024.
Ella Jane Williams, arrived at 12:56 p.m. on Jan 2, measuring 19 inches and weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz.
The healthy baby girl is the daughter of Lindsey Tompkins and Ricky Williams of Niagara Falls.
Ella received a special gift bundle courtesy of Totally Buffalo Cares. The package includes a $100 DoorDash gift card among other wonderful items, to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Ella and her parents are participants in NFMMC’s community-based doula program provided by the P3 Center of Niagara. The program offers consistent guidance and support from a dedicated doula throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
