BUFFALO, N.Y. — One person was injured when a boat caught fire Thursday evening along Buffalo's Outer Harbor.
The fire was reported around 6:45 p.m. Thursday on the 1100 block of Fuhrmann Boulevard. That's where a boat was on fire with two people on board, a spokesperson for the Buffalo Fire Department told 2 On Your Side.
Firefighters who responded to the scene quickly put out the fire. One man suffered minor burn injuries and was treated by first responders at the scene.
The damage caused an estimated $25,000 in damages to the boat and another $5,000 to the dock.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
