LOCKPORT, New York — Workers at the GM Components plant in Lockport have said a resounding "no" to a tentative contract agreement reached last week to end a five week strike against the automaker.
UAW Local 686 posted the following results on its Facebook page:

Workers across the nation are voting on the new four-year deal. Voting ends Friday.
Workers at one of the largest General Motors factories have voted in favor of ratifying the new contract, and approval there is a strong sign it will pass overall.
Workers went on strike Sept. 16, crippling GM's U.S. factories and costing the company an estimated $2 billion.
