LANCASTER, NY - The Lancaster School District has narrowed the list of names for the high school and middle school mascots.
The Lancaster School District unanimously passed a resolution in March to change its controversial "Redskins" nickname.
Students from the high school, middle school, William Street school will vote for their choice on May 27. The students will get to choose from seven different mascots:
Lancaster Alphas
Lancaster Dragons
Lancaster Jaguars
Lancaster Knights
Lancaster Legends
Lancaster Pride
Lancaster Red Hawks
