No injuries were reported. A resident in the duplex was awakened by the fire and called it in.

LANCASTER, N.Y. — Crews from the Lancaster Fire Department were called to a home on Quincy Avenue on Saturday night after reports of smoke and flames.

The Twin District, Bowmansville, and Depew fire departments also came to help. The Lancaster Fire Department said there were no injuries, adding that a resident in the duplex was awakened by the fire and called it in.

The fire could eventually be seen going through the roof, but it was put out the fire in just over half an hour. Lancaster Fire said the fire was mostly in the attic area and that the building was a heavy loss.
