LOCKPORT, N.Y. — Lake Effect Ice Cream is getting into the holiday spirit at their Lockport shop.
In a post made to the ice cream shop's Facebook page they shared pictures of their Christmas tree and said how it could use a few more ornaments.
"Ok, we have this huge Christmas tree that we just set up at our Lockport shop and we have a ton of room on it for more ornaments! So, it might be the art teacher in me but it’s definitely time to start back up our homemade ornament requests! We did this a few years ago and the ornaments that came in were amazing." Lake Effect Ice Cream wrote in their post, "So here is how it’s going to work. If you stop by our Lockport shop, with a HANDMADE, not store purchased ornament for our tree and we will trade you a Lake Effect 'free small cone' wooden nickel in exchange for your ornament. One ornament per person."
This promotion will only be happening at the Lockport location. As they mentioned, only one ornament can be exchanged per person.
