Town of Tonawanda organization in need of new blankets and pillowcases

The organization put out the wish list over the weekend looking for crafters who can make new blankets, specifically toddler and child "snuggle blankets".

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The Ken-Ton Closet, which collects donated items for families in need in the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda area, is in need of certain items.

The organization put out the wish list over the weekend looking for crafters who can make new blankets, specifically toddler and child "snuggle blankets".

Also on their wish list is standard size pillow cases in colorful or interesting patterns.  They will also accept material used to make the pillowcases (at least one yard).

They're also planning ahead for their Holiday Stocking Stuffer program and are in need of stockings.  They're looking for handmade stockings.  They have a link posted on their Facebook page for a pattern, or you can use your own.

In addition to the blankets and pillowcases, they are in need of boys clothing size 5 and up.

Other items they're also in need of are baby toiletries, like baby wash, lotion, cotton swabs and vaseline.

Donations are accepted all year long and can be dropped off at the Ken-Ton Closet location  at 250 Athens.  Their doors and donation bin are located on the Oakvale side of the building.

They request that if you do drop off donations in the bin, that they are placed in a waterproof bag.

Hey friends! Several announcements for you… First, a thank you to Beta Alpha sorority the awesome birthday bags… well...
