WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The West Seneca Police Department will have some furry partners joining them out on the road this summer looking for forever families.

Making its comeback for the 3rd year, the West Seneca Police will have their 'K9 for a day' program back in action in a partnership with Buddy's Second Chance Shelter.

In a social media post announcing the program's comeback the department wrote, "Look for us at farmer's markets, sports tournaments, festivals, and other community events this summer where we will have more good boys and girls spending a shift with us that need a new leash on life. Don't be shy- feel free to come up to us and give them the ear scratches they deserve."
