BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 1-year-girl was rushed to a hospital Friday afternoon after possibly being exposed to a needle.
The child is listed in critical condition at Oishei Children's Hospital, a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police Department said.
Police responded to a rescue call on the 400 block of Busti Avenue on the city's Lower West Side around 3:15 p.m. Friday. That's where officers said the infant was possibly exposed to a needle.
Police have not said how the infant was possibly exposed, adding that the incident remains under investigation.
