Elmwood Village Indian restaurant gets new owners

The partners also plan to expand the hours of operation, likely to seven days a week, 11 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — An Elmwood Village restaurant will remain open after all, but with new ownership and a few tweaks.

Parivaaar will transition from founder Priya Rathod to Imandeep Singh and Jodhvir Singh. The two friends who took over operations on Oct. 12 at 708 Elmwood, previously home to Acropolis OPA.

Plans call for keeping the name and vibe, but with a few changes to the logo and to the Indian/Southeast Asian fusion menu.

“We want to carry on her legacy and do what she was doing,” said Imandeep, who has a background in the legal field and has also worked in the restaurant business for eight years.
