HOLLAND, N.Y. — The return of outdoor festivals was on display Saturday, with the 67th annual Holland Tulip Festival in full bloom.
Saturday's festivities kicked off with the annual parade, followed by the coronation of this year's tulip queen. People who attended could also enjoy games, music, and carnival rides.
The Kiwanis Club of Holland said this is the group's biggest fundraiser of the year.
"This is the biggest fundraiser. Last year, the Kiwanis Club of Holland was able to put over $38,000 back into our small community in Holland, by putting on fundraisers like this," Lindsay Masterson, a Kiwanis Club board member, told 2 On Your Side. "We also have an annual tool raffle, a meat raffle, a calendar raffle, we do a number of events all year, but the Tulip Festival is definitely the biggest."
