CHEEKTOWAGA, NY - After more than 50 years, Holiday Showcase in Cheektowaga has closed.
The popular restaurant on Union Road confirmed that Sunday was their last day of business.
Opening in 1965, the classic diner offered curbside carhop service and American breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They strived to keep the old-fashioned feel during the renovations following a devastating tornado in 1987.
According to the Cheektowaga Chronicle, managers say the business is closing because the owners are retiring.
There is no word yet if new owners will take over the restaurant.
