HAMBURG, NY - Setup for the annual Erie County Fair is getting underway.
A crowd was on hand Thursday as the train carrying the James E. Strates Show arrived at the Fairgrounds. They have been a part of the fair tradition for the past 91 years. The 50-car train is the last one in North America that carries a midway and rides.
The Erie County Fair runs from August 12 to 23.
Opening day is Channel 2 Day at the fair, with $2 admission and parking.
Gates open at noon.
