The Erie County Sheriff's Office says Leah was struck and killed by a vehicle near South State Parkway and Broadway Wednesday night.

Investigators say this is still an open investigation.

Grand Island Superintendent Dr. Brian Graham described Leah as, "one of those children or students that glow from inside, she has this incredible light that not only resonates with her personality but also her selflessness."
