J.J.'s Road to Recovery benefit dinner

A benefit dinner is set to help Jayden “J.J.” Kramer, a student injured after being hit by a vehicle while riding his bike along Route 62.

GOWANDA, N.Y. — Jayden "J.J." Kramer was hit by a vehicle while riding his bike along State Route 62. He was treated for a traumatic brain injury in Buffalo and faces on-going therapy in Rochester during his road to recovery. 

A benefit dinner will be held Saturday at Gowanda Moose Lodge from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. to support J.J. 

The J.J.’s Road to Recovery event will feature live music by Tennessee Whiskey Band, basket raffle, auction, bake sale, and face painting. Among the prizes available, signed Bills memorabilia and gift baskets donated by local businesses will be up to win. 

Kids 13 and younger can attend the event for free, and general tickets will be $25. Dinner served is Italian sausage with peppers and onions, ziti with bread and butter, a garden salad, vegetables, and refreshments.
