BUFFALO, N.Y. — You know it's getting close to spring when it's Girl Scout cookie season.
The beloved sweet treats are back with classic favorites:
- Thin Mints
- Adventurefuls
- Caramel deLites
- Peanut Butter Patties
- Peanut Butter Sandwiches
- Lemonades
- Toast-Yays
- Trefoil
By selling the cookies, the scouts learn about setting goals, making decisions, creating a budget and managing money, customer service and learn to act ethically.
"Our Girl Scouts are thrilled to embark on another exciting Cookie Season," said Mary Jo Brown, Chief Program Officer as Girl Scouts of WNY. "The Girl Scout cookie program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world. We have a unique program model. Girl Scouts gain financial empowerment skills while taking the lead with hands-on activities."
The cookies are $6.00 a box and 100% of the proceeds stays locally with the Girl Scouts of WNY.
