NEWFANE, N.Y. — Looking to have a spooky time this weekend?
The Newfane Historical Society will be welcoming guests, if you dare, to the Van Horn Mansion this weekend. The candlelight tours are a yearly tradition for the infamously haunted house.
Happening on Oct. 18, 19, 25, and 26 those interested in the tours can purchase tickets by clicking here. Tickets are $18 and the tour is around 80-minutes.
Guests are encouraged to bring their very own recorders, cameras, and flashlights for what ghostly figures could be encountered.
According to the Van Horn Mansion's website, the mansion was first constructed in 1810 by the Van Horn Family.
"The Van Horn Mansion is most known for being haunted by a number of spirits, the most famous being Malinda Niles Van Horn, who died over 150 years ago" according to the website.
