NEWFANE, N.Y. — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office alongside multiple local volunteer fire companies responded to a garage fire in the Town of Newfane on Monday night.
A 911 call was made around 5:16 p.m. with reports that a detached garage on Phillips Road was on fire. The fire had spread to the 3 cars parked in the homes driveway and the home itself soon after.
All of the houses occupants were able to safely exit the home. The fire was extinguished by the Olcott Volunteer Fire Company, Miller Hose Fire Company, and Wilson Volunteer Fire Company.
Extensive fire damage was done to all three parts of the home, garage, and cars. There were no injuries reported.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause. More information will be shared once details become available.
