BUFFALO, N.Y. — Following the unexpected death of restauranteur Tommy Cowan last month, the future of one of his restaurants, Doc Sullivan's was unknown at the time.
Cowan, 44, was well-known for his work in the Buffalo restaurant industry.
2 On Your Side's Claudine Ewing spoke to Cowan's family Monday and was told Doc Sullivan's will remain open, and Cowan's family will own the business under an LLC.
Pat Lalley, Cowan's brother in-law, will be the managing partner of the restaurant.
Family and friends Remembered Cowan as someone who welcomed everyone and would help anyone. Donations may be made in Cowan's memory to FeedMore WNY.
