ELLICOTT, N.Y. — Fire crews have been battling a motel fire since early Tuesday morning in the town of Ellicott, near Jamestown.
The fire started just after 5:30 a.m. and was an active scene for several hours as firefighters worked to get it under control.
According to a Chautauqua County spokesperson, two people have been sent to a UPMC Chautauqua hospital. Two firefighters were also taken to the hospital. As of Tuesday afternoon, 2 On Your Side learned that all four people have been released from the hospital.
We're told by Chautauqua County that around 15 people staying in the hotel have been displaced. The American Red Cross and Salvation Army are assisting those people.

Celeron Fire is working with the Town of Ellicott and Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office to investigate the cause of the fire. Officials have ordered the building to be demolished.
According to NITTEC, Fairmount Avenue was closed from Dunham Avenue to Howard Avenue in both directions for most of the day. Fairmount was opened back up to drivers just before 6:00 in the evening.
