BUFFALO, N.Y. — Erie County is providing a big financial boost for FeedMore WNY.

The county is contributing $3 million that will go towards the construction of the organization's new facility in the Town of Hamburg.

The planned 197,700-square-foot facility on Camp Road will replace two sites in the City of Buffalo that house FeedMore’s Food Bank and Meals on Wheels programs.

The county is encouraging other counties to help Feedmore WNY reach its $28 million goal.

"Erie County has come through, and I'd like our other counties... Niagara County, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, to also consider making a sizable contribution if they can, and we did ours, now it's time for you to do yours," said Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz.

Feedmore WNY says it plans to move into the new space in 2026.
