ConnectLife offers free beer for blood donations

The promotion will run throughout the month of July and offers people fun prizes for donating blood.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Fattey Beer Co. and ConnectLife are teaming up yet again to encourage more people in the community to donate blood through their 'Pint for a Pint' program.

All throughout the month of July every donor that is 21-years-old and older will be able to cash in a voucher for a free beer at Fattey Beer Co. when they donate.

Fattey Beer Co. has locations in the City of Buffalo, Hamburg, Kenmore, Lancaster, Orchard Park, Rochester, and North Tonawanda.

Making the deal a little bit more enticing ConnectLife will also be giving away free tickets to the Buffalo Bills training camps happening at St. John Fisher University on July 1 to the 6.

Tickets will give fans the VIP experience which includes an exclusive viewing area, food, and drinks. ConnectLife will choose 4 winners each week from those who donate blood.

According to ConnectLife's website 1 blood donor can save up to 3 lives in Western New York.

"The partnerships come at a crucial time for ConnectLife and local hospitals. Donations drop drastically in the summer with schools out and travel disrupting schedules. At the same time, demand rises with the increase in traffic leading to more accidents. As a result, ConnectLife’s blood shipments to ECMC and Mercy Flight have spiked with the start of summer." ConnectLife shared in a press release.
