Eight days of hope helping tornado ravaged communities in mid west to rebuild after devastating homes and property

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Eight Days of Hope has just deployed its rapid response team to Oklahoma and Nebraska to help clear homes, remove debris, take down fallen trees, and feed those that need it.

The organization's mass feeding ministry went down to Oklahoma to provide hot meals to impacted families and first responders after communities were ravaged by powerful winds and tornadoes.

2 On Your Side spoke with the organizer who tells us, "we come in, and we'll help people with tree work, we'll help elderly, we'll help the widows, maybe the single moms if they need help with trees, taking trees off the roof or out of a driveway, also if they have holes in their roof, maybe a branch has come in their house, we can remove the branches, and patch the roofs up."

Eight Days of Hope has a large office in the City of Buffalo and says you can help the organization by donating to the ministry. You can do so by clicking here.
