Bus involved car crash on East Tupper Street

2 On Your Side went to the scene where an Erie County DSS bus could be seen on its side along with another car that appears to have been hit.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A car crash was reported by NITTEC closing North Oak Street from Goodell Street to East Tupper Street and East Tupper from Washington Street to Elm Street on Wednesday afternoon in the City of Buffalo. 

2 On Your Side went to the scene where an Erie County DSS bus could be seen on its side along with another vehicle that appeared to have been hit. 

Buffalo police say a Jeep Cherokee was traveling south on Oak Street when it crashed into a transport van causing it to roll over.

Two ambulances were at the scene of the crash according to 2 On Your Side's Rob Hackford who was there. 

An 18 and 66-year-old male passengers were both transported to ECMC.

The investigation remains ongoing as police are looking to determine if the Jeep ran a red light before hitting the van.
