East Aurora Police investigate motorcycle accident

The 43-year-old motorcycle driver had left the roadway and hit a utility pole around 12:02 a.m. on Olean Road in the Village of East Aurora.

EAST AURORA, N.Y. — East Aurora Police responded to an accident around 12:02 a.m. on Tuesday morning for a crash involving a motorcycle. 

The accident happened on Olean Road in the Village of East Aurora.   

Investigators say a 43-year-old male on a motorcycle left the roadway and hit a utility pole. He was treated at the scene by an AMR ambulance, the East Aurora Fire Department, and then taken to ECMC by Mercy Flight.

East Aurora Police are investigating the accident with the assistance of the Erie County Sheriff's Department's Accident Investigation Unit. Names have not been released at this time.
