BUFFALO, NY-- New e-cigarette restrictions are now on the books in Erie County.
County executive Mark Poloncarz signed the bill passed by the legislature into law today.
It makes smoking e-cigs illegal at any public, indoor places, except for shops where they're being sold.
County Health Commissioner Dr. Gale Burstein says it's about keeping people from being exposed to cancer-causing chemicals that are found in e-cigarette vapor.
