BUFFALO, N.Y.- Western New Yorkers have something new to see at Buffalo's waterfront.
Construction crews at the RiverWorks project have been at work transforming the group of grain silos known as the six pack into a gigantic six pack of LaBatt Blue beer.
Beginning next summer, the space inside the six pack will have a seasonal bar and restaurant. The six pack is also adjacent to an arena that will be used for ice hockey, curling and other events.
"This is the largest six pack in the world, and it is the largest vinyl insert in the state. They don't do these often, it's unique public art and advertising," Doug Swift, one of the RiverWorks developers said.
In addition to the arena, the six pack is also near an event space that will house a restaurant and a concert venue.
