Former Buffalo Sabres goalie and Hall of Famer Dominik Hasek spent time Friday at Buffalo Center, where he met people at the Delaware Avenue rehabilitation facility.
"It's always nice to be here among the people, talk to them about hockey, about life," Hasek said. "I always enjoy (being) back in Buffalo."
Hasek said he usually returns to Buffalo twice a year, but this year, it's different with the Sabres in playoff contention.
"Finally, I see the team is winning more games. I believe they have a good chance to make the playoffs," he said. "I think it has to be a goal for everyone in the locker room and everyone in the organization. It seems they have a good chance to make the playoffs."
