BUFFALO, N.Y. — A development group has purchased about 20 acres of vacant land at 503 Elk St. in South Buffalo for $2.2 million.
Robert Pierce, one of the partners with purchaser 503 Elk Street LLC, said he's not yet sure what to do with the parcel at the corner of Elk and Babcock Streets.
"We just find the property to be very attractive, the brownfield credits to be lucrative," he said. "We're looking potentially to manufacturing, but we have some other ideas."
Elk Street Commerce Park LLC, an affiliate of the Krog Group in Orchard Park, sold the land. The parcel is only part of 503 Elk St., which totals 34 acres.
