ORLEANS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two Orleans County Deputies have been indicted on more than 240 charges.
The grand jury filed the charges against Sergeant Dean Covis and Deputy Thomas Marano for falsifying business records and grand larceny.
Marano and Covis are accused of taking $18,000 to work a security job that they never showed up for, according to state police.
Both are charged with falsifying business records and grand larceny, and have been suspended while the case continues.
