DEPEW, N.Y. — One person died in a crash that happened Thursday afternoon in the Village of Depew.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m., with Depew Police responding to Broadway near Indian Road. Officers quickly found a collision that involved a motorcycle and a commercial vehicle.
Depew Police launched an investigation. The victim's name is being withheld for now, until the next of kin is notified, Depew Police said in a statement Thursday night.
Broadway was closed in both directions for roughly four hours, according to NITTEC.
Police said no further details will be released while the investigation continues. They're also urging anyone who might have video, or who might have witnessed the crash, to contact the Depew Police Department at 716-683-1123.
