BUFFALO, N.Y. — As we make our way through the winter preparations for summer events in Buffalo are underway. One of those includes the popular, and ever so flavorful Taste of Buffalo.
The food themed event is centered around all the great local eats in WNY, and is heading into its 41st annual year since it first began.
Restaurants hoping to be apart of the fun day are reminded that the registration deadline for 2024 will soon be approaching on February 12. Applications for the event can be found here.
Those restaurants looking to be apart of the event must meet criteria such as:
- Be a public establishment, whose primary commercial function is to serve and sell food to the general public.
- Offer seating at the principal place of business.
- Be open year-round in Western New York.
- Taste requires each restaurant to serve a smaller sized “Taste” portion of at least one of the menu items you will be serving for 4 tickets.
- Taste also requires each restaurant to serve one Healthy Option. A Healthy Option is an item that is lower in fat, cholesterol & sodium. Item will require approval based on guidelines to be provided.
