BUFFALO, N.Y. — Explore & More Children’s Museum and Beau Fleuve Music & Arts are partnering again for Day of Play.
The event will take place on Sunday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Explore and More Children's Museum.
The organizations said the day will allow more families and kids to experience the museums since tickets will be a ‘pay what you wish’ price. Guests can choose $8, $10 or the regular $13 for their ticket. There also will be 400 free tickets available at select community centers on the East Side and West Side of Buffalo. Those tickets also include a $5 food voucher for the Low Bridge Café. Those tickets are already being distributed.
“This is an intentional effort to ensure our East & West Side communities have access to Explore & More,” Lindsey L. Taylor, Founder of Beau Fleuve Music & Arts said. “Through our partnership, we want to assist with every aspect.”
And if transportation is also an issue, NFTA is handing out 100 Day Passes to help make it easier for families to visit the museum on July 14. These passes will also be distributed through the select community centers.
The “Day of Play” will also feature five youth entrepreneurs through Buffalo Kid Entrepreneurs.
Last year’s day of play had over 900 kids and parents visit with more than half of those people visiting for the very first time.
