CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A serious crash temporarily closed the 33 West in Cheektowaga on Wednesday night.
The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday, and it closed the 33 West between Harlem Road and Eggert Road. Cheektowaga Police and Fire crews were on the scene.
A NITTEC camera showed first responders over all three lanes.
Several lanes on the 33 West reopened around 10:40 p.m., allowing traffic to flow again. There was no immediate word from Cheektowaga Police about what caused the crash, or any injuries suffered because of it.
