BUFFALO, N.Y. — A court ruling was made Wednesday concerning Buffalo's historic Cobblestone buildings that went up in flames in June.
The New York State Supreme Court's Appellate Division in Rochester ruled to deny a motion to appeal a previous decision filed by the building's owner, Darryl Carr.
This ruling is in the City of Buffalo's favor, allowing the city to take over the property under eminent domain.
Carr recently told 2 On Your Side that he plans to appeal this latest ruling with the Court of Appeals, which is the highest appeals court in New York State.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
