BUFFALO, N.Y. – It’s the end of an era in Buffalo media as Don Paul, Chief Meteorologist at WIVB, retired tonight.
Don said farewell to viewers on the station’s 6pm newscast. He forecasted Buffalo weather for more than 30 years, starting at Channel 4 in 1984. From 1988-1991, he was Chief Meteorologist here at WGRZ.
Don then returned to Channel 4 and remained there until tonight. He also did forecasts for radio stations WBEN and WJYE.
All of us at 2 On Your Side wish Don the best as he begins his retirement.
