JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Jamestown's National Comedy Center has announced their final headliner for this summer's Lucille Ball festival- happening from August 1- August 4.
Nate Bargatze will perform on Saturday, August 3, alongside comedians Nicole Byer and Jeff Ross at Jamestown's Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.
“I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the National Comedy Center and it’s just awesome. The interactivity of all the exhibits is amazing – there is nothing else like it. So, it’s a thrill for me to perform at the National Comedy Center’s Lucille Ball Comedy Festival this August. I hope everyone will come out to see us in Jamestown – and visit the Comedy Center before our show,” said Bargatze in a press release.
Bargatze has previously been featured on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Conan, and late night shows starring Seth Meyers and James Corden. According to a release, Bargatze has made the most appearances of any comedian on Fallon's Tonight Show.
At the Lucille Ball festival, Bargazte will host his "The Be Funny" tour- which has sold out and broken attendance records across the globe.
“Nate Bargatze has become a favorite of comedy fans across the country and one of the highest-grossing comedians of the year, selling out arenas nationwide,” stated National Comedy Center Executive Director Journey Gunderson. “We were thrilled to have Nate visit the National Comedy Center last fall and look forward to bringing him back to Jamestown for a special headlining performance this August. He’s become a great friend and supporter of our mission.”
The National Comedy Center celebrates 34 years of the Lucille Ball festival, offering over 50 live events commemorating comedy's heritage, and attracting more than 15,000 visitors each year.
Tickets for Bargatze's show will be available for pre-sale for members of the National Comedy Center starting Tuesday, June 25 through Wednesday, June 26. Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Thursday, June 27.
Nicole Byer will be performing August 1 and Jeff Ross will be performing August 2. Tickets for other Lucille Ball festival events and comedy shows hosted by Byer and Ross are currently on sale for the public.
“With Nate Bargatze, Nicole Byer and Jeff Ross, we truly have a stellar headliner lineup this summer,” stated Malachi Livermore, the National Comedy Center’s Vice President of Programming & Guest Experience. “Together with many of the best stand-ups from across the country, Lucy celebration events, bigger block parties with live music and more, the 2024 festival will celebrate the best of comedy’s past and present over four days.”
