BUFFALO, N.Y. — Claudine Ewing has been named as this year's recipient of the Professional Nurse's Association of Western New York Board of Directors award.
Each year, the association recognizes a member of the local community who is determined to make a difference.
Jennifer Powell, the director of the Professional Nurse's Association of WNY, says "Claudine's life motto is expect nothing, appreciate everything and keep grinding... sounds like us nurses."
The association says Ewing embodies the traits that are similar to nurses across our region, including a fierce dedication to our community.
