BUFFALO, N.Y. — The final piece has fallen into place, allowing this new exciting announcement to occur.
Oishei Children's Hospital has teamed up with Buffalo Games, and cartoonist Adam Zyglis to create a fun 500-piece puzzle that is all things Buffalo-themed.
The 'Buffalo Vortex' puzzle will feature familiar Buffalo foods, condiments, landmarks, and more surrounding a superhero version of Josh Allen.
“We couldn’t be happier to be partnering with Buffalo Games and Adam Zyglis,” said Stephen Turkovich, MD, president of Oishei Children’s Hospital. “This fundraiser is so uniquely special to us. After all, one of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal in the hospital are toys and games. They relieve stress, aid us in physical therapies, serve as a teaching aid, and bring a sense of normalcy to an otherwise unfamiliar hospital building. And to wrap Buffalo’s greatest landmarks and features into that – well, it really is a touchdown.”
The limited-edition puzzle will be available at Wegmans and will hit the shelves within the next few weeks.
All proceeds earned from puzzle sales will benefit all those who receive care at Children's Hospital in Buffalo.
“The cause of Oishei Children’s Hospital is close to our heart here at Buffalo Games,” said Nagendra Raina, CEO of Buffalo Games. “It’s an honor to be able to support a premier institution and its mission and this puzzle is our manifestation of the best of Buffalo, for a cause that is as much so!”
