Child was rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in South Buffalo

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday at Seneca and Edson streets, just east of Cazenovia Park.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A child was rushed to Oishei Children's Hospital after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in South Buffalo.

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday at Seneca and Edson streets, just east of Cazenovia Park. The child, who a City of Buffalo spokesperson said is believed to be 10 or 11 years old, was rushed by ambulance to the hospital.

The injuries are serious but the child is expected to recover, the spokesperson said.
