CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. -- A Cheektowaga woman admitted to selling drugs out of her home, in some cases, while she was with her grandchild.
Invesrtigators say Wanda Winfield,46 was selling opioids out of her home. Police also believe that she would buy other people’s prescribed pills and then resell those pills.
During one of those sales, Winfield allegedly sold drugs to a confidential informant while holding her grandchild.
Police believe Winfield sold more than 50 opioid pills on November 20 and 24, 2015. The pills had a street value of almost $3,000.
Winfield's attorney, Thomas Eoannou, tells us she plead guilty after the judge agreed to not give her jail time.
