CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — The Town of Cheektowaga is ending its overnight parking ban a little early this year.
Effective immediately, residents can once again park on the street starting Friday night. Town officials ask, however, that should a significant snow event occur, residents move their vehicles off the street so that town plows can do their job.
Overnight parking bans have also been listed in Town of Tonawanda and in Kenmore. Both ended their winter overnight parking bans on Sunday, citing good weather expected over the next couple weeks.
The Town of Tonawanda is asking, in the event of significant snowfall, that residents use common sense and remove their vehicles from the street so plows can go by.
