'Everything started crashing' | Car crashes into North Buffalo business

No one was hurt. The business says it is working with the building owner and building inspectors to assess the damage.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A North Buffalo business is cleaning up a mess after a car crashed into their building.

The crash happened Sunday afternoon, in the side of Exotic Stop Smoke Shop on Delaware Avenue.

Nobody was seriously hurt, but the business owner told 2 On Your Side that an older woman was behind the wheel and that she may have been having a medical emergency at the time of the crash.

"We were inside the store, everything was normal, we had a few customers in there, and next thing you know, it sounded like a meteor or something hit the building," smoke shop owner Khalyl Allen said. "Everything started crashing, we started seeing smoke. We were like, what's going on?

"One of my employees ran out to see what was going on. He helped her cut the seatbelt off of her, let her out the car, and the next thing we know, we see a whole hole in the building."

The business says it is working with the building owner and building inspectors to assess the damage.
