BUFFALO, N.Y. — A well-known businessman in Buffalo has passed away.
Anthony Amigone Sr. was the second-generation operator of the Amigone Funeral Homes and Cremation Services and is credited for building the first modern funeral home in the City of Buffalo... back in the 1950s.
He was an army veteran who also served as President of the New York State Funeral Directors Association.
Amigone Sir died Saturday. He was 92 years old.
The community is invited to celebrate his life at the Amigone funeral home on Delaware Avenue this Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
