Security measures increased at airport following explosion at Rainbow Bridge

Any vehicles coming into the Buffalo airport will undergo security checks and travelers can expect additional screening.

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — The NFTA and the Buffalo International Airport are ramping up security measures following a vehicle explosion that happened Wednesday morning at the Rainbow Bridge. 

NFTA said it is increasing security system-wide. Any vehicles coming into the Buffalo airport will undergo security checks and travelers can expect additional screening.
