BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Fire Department is warning residents and emergency personnel to be cautious near a vacant house after it went up in flames on Sunday morning.

According to a spokesperson, the two-and-a-half-story house at 23 Deshler Street was on fire around 7:05 a.m. but was quickly extinguished by firefighters.

The fire was reported to have started on the first floor and extended to the second floor.

This came just after another fire at the same location back in August.

Officials say the total cost of damages is currently estimated at $50,000 for the building, but no contents were affected.

The spokesperson shared with 2 On Your Side that there are hazardous conditions in the back of the house and urged the community to exercise caution in the area.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
